.

I've been busy preparing for the party and while I was cooking I asked Jessica to get me some tomato sauce and she took Andrew with her. Then an unexpected happened, she dropped a can of tomato in his foot and it made a bruise. I got worried about it since his foot got swollen. I asked Russ to take him to the hospital while the party is going and have him checked just wanna make sure it's not broken or something. Luckily it's not something serious. I'll post his party picture later.

After sacrament meeting, we went to Fe & Scott's house and join with them as we clebrate easter. The kids did easter egg hunting, and we colored eggs too. It was a lot of fun for Andrew. He ate a lot of candies yesterday. Oh well...

Sunday, March 23, 2008

We had a great testimony meeting today. The spirit was so strong. I've been having a hard yesterday as we went to visit Ammon's grave. I bought him some flowers (tulips) and I looked at his grave for a while reflecting on many things. I was imagining how different it would be only if he was here with us. Painful as it seems to be, but I'm comforted with the assurance that I'll be with him again. I felt Heavnely Father's ove for me at our sacrament meeting. Since today si Easter Sunday the topic was all about the Atonement and Jesu's ressurection. What a comfort! I know I've heard same topic over and over but today is different. The speaker spoke with spirit and power. After the talk 2 ladies played the violin and 1 played the piano for the tune of "I Know That My Redeemer Lives" Nobody sang the words just played the music and I felt so calm inside and am grateful for those 3 ladies who played the music. I know Jesus Christ lives, and becuase he is then all of us will be ressurected! What a comfort! Anyway, I read an article about "Jesus & The Easter Bunny' that I think is worth thinking about...

Ask your average heathen youngster what Easter is all about and he'll tell you about the Easter bunny, and finding Easter baskets filled with that annoying grass that seems to stick to household furnishings long after Easter is past. And those pastel foil-covered, football things that are a sorry excuse for real chocolate. And, of course, there are Easter eggs to dye and jelly beans -- you've got to have jelly beans. Black beans are best.
"And mommy, that's what Easter is."
"Oh, Jason, how cute."
How sad! Most children today don't know beans about what Easter really means.
Why don't you tell the story of Jesus to your children or grandchildren this Easter? Tell them about the man who is God's Son, who came to show people the love God has for them. Tell them how evil people murdered him by nailing him to a cross. Tell them how Jesus was buried in a rock-hewn tomb. Let them hear how the Roman soldiers were powerless the morning of that third day when the stone rolled away and Jesus walked forth alive.
Tell your children that because of Jesus, even though people may die, they will not stay dead. That they can live forever with Jesus, and even their bodies will be raised from the dead just like Jesus' body was.
Now I'm sure that Jesus loves bunnies -- he made them. And probably chocolate, too. But don't you think he gets a little impatient with parents and grandparents who exalt a rabbit over the Savior? And on his own special Day, too?
How about it? Will you tell them the real story this year? Maybe even take them to church where they'll hear the story told by experienced Sunday school teachers? Sure, buy some jelly beans and a wad of that clingy grass for their baskets. But don't suppress the real, fascinating truth of Jesus' triumph over death.
After all, those same children are trying day by day to make sense of the death and life they see around them. They have real hopes and real fears and a destiny unfolding. They deserve a real "Jesus Easter" this year.

Andrew loves Leslie's Clover Chips. When we go to the Filipino stores he always asks me to buy him the chip. It makes him so happy to have his favorite chips.

Wednesday, March 19, 2008

It was 11:30 pm last night and Andrew still refused to go to sleep. When I sent him upstairs, I thought he would go to sleep but instead he wanted to come down and asked for chips. I told him it's time to sleep but instead he told me " No sleep just chips!" So I just gave him some chips and after he finished some he asked for more. I just left him in the table eating, after a while I saw him got down from his chair and took his food in the floor. Still I didn't bother him but after 5 minutes it got so quiet and when I checked he was already asleep in the floor...

SNOW??

It's been warm this week but our front yard has a pile of snow still. We're the only one in all neighborhood that has a pile of snow still. Today, I decided to shovel them off so it will be gone. We're planning to have Andrew's birthday party in our front yard. Hopefully it will be warm enough!
