Our Day

Once Andrew got up this morning, Russ gave him a haircut. Andrew did a good job cooperating, he wasn't making any unnecessary movements while having a haircut. I think it helped that Russ did it right after he woke because he was in a good mood. Anyway we had a busy day, we went grocery shopping in the morning and when we got home I spent time playing with Andrew and at the same time teaching him shapes and colors and alphabet. I was surprised about 2 weeks ago when Andrew pointing at everything and was telling what kind of shapes they are. I bought him some flash cards and that's where I started teaching him. he picked up pretty fast he knows the basic shapes (square, circle, rectangle & triangle) he's still having a hard time with some of the colors but in time he'll get it for sure... He counts 1-10 and can recognize some of the alphabets. Right after we're done with our learning time, he never forget to tell me "Mommy I'm smart" and I always answer "yes you are". He's really a funny boy. He's a joy to me and I'm proud of him!
He always wants this kind of cart when we go grocery shopping.

New Look!

The UTA Frontrunner commuter rail from Salt Lake City to Ogden had it's grand opening starting last Saturday (April 26). They're doing a free public rides and so Russ and I thought it would be fun to take a ride with the kids (especially Andrew because he likes train so much) for our family night. As expected, there were a lot of people and a lot were standing inside too but it was fun and we all had fun. Andrew enjoyed a lot and when the train made the choo-choo sound he would do it too... After our train ride, we went to eat at out favorite buffet!

We attended Jannelle's birthday party at Classic Fun Center. We stayed there for a while (about 3 hours). They have a lot of activities for kids (skating, bouncing, laser tag, pirate's cove and wall climbing). Andrew enjoyed so much the pirate's cove and though he wanted to go up at the top, he's not big enough to do it. He felt bad about it and he was bugging me to come with him but I can't (it's for kids only). Anyway, he enjoyed the bottom slide and it's just right for his size....

I'm thankful for all of my friends who's always there for me. I'm blessed with a lot of friends and especially blessed with true friends. To all my friends, especially to Fe "Thank You" and this poem is for you...
I have a friend
Who is perfect for me
She listens to all my problems
No matter how dumb they may be
She likes herself for who she is
And never tries to change
She tells me to be myself
And that I should never change
We would talk for hours
About nothing at all
We would talk about love and life
And discuss what we wanted to be
She knew just how I felt
And how happy I could be
She listens to me patiently
But never judges what I do or say
She helped with all my problems
And never went away
I never once felt judged by her
How much that meant to me
That I could tell her all my dreams
And she would listen to me
My friend never goes and tells
What is dear to me
She keeps it all bottled up inside
And doesn't spread it like a bee
I am thankful for that friend of mine
Our friendship will never end
And she will always be there
For she is my best friend

Johnathan turned 15 last April 17th. We didn't have a big party because he wanted to do something else. I dropped him off the mall and he went shopping with his his friend, then we ate at Asian Buffet. It's one of our favorite restaurants. The food is pretty good there. When we got home we had him blew candles on his cake. He had fun!

Russ doesn't want me to work hard on computers and spend less time with Andrew but I just have to do it as there's a lot to do. Russ and I were both working in the garage and Andrew wanted to stay with us so bad that he threw a tantrum on everybody. I decided to let him out with us and gave him something to do. We had him carried power supplies from one table to the other and he did a lot. Every time he picked up one he said " Ohh, it's heavy". He did a lot of them and did a pretty good job organizing them. Right after doing it he sat down in the seat that we pulled out from the van and was relaxing... I told him I gonna pay him $1 for what he did. :)

I've been busy these past few days, been working on tearing apart the computers. We got quiet a lot lately. Jhun & Fe came for 2 days to help me. It's hard to keep Andrew occupied while I'm working in the garage, he always wants to be with me. So I gave him an ice cream and sat him down in one of the computers. At least it kept him occupied until the ice cream was gone.

Pizza Boy

Andrew's most favorite food is pizza. He can eat 2-3 slices of pizza at one setting. At Jessica's birthday party he ate a lot of pizza!!
