After a while Andrew got tired of walking so Jesse carried him on her back.

A while ago, I've been reading some of my friends blog who don't like the idea of their husband being away. Every time I could read one I would say to myself ( I'm lucky coz I don't have to deal with it). Well, Russ is in Las Vegas (he left early this morning) and he won't be back till tomorrow night. He made an overnight trip down there to drop off some balikbayan boxes. When we went to Vegas last time one of my friends there referred me to one Cargo Forwarder who is shipping balikbayan boxes to the Philippines. When we talked to him, we found out we can do business with him. We have an advantage ( a big van that uses a cheap gas and at the same time Russ can do his running around all over Savers and DI's there). So today we had our first load of balikbayan boxes. We charge $25-$35 cheaper than the rest of the agents.

I don't like being alone with 4 kids. I'm paranoid of somebody breaking into our house while we're sleeping (honestly there's some incidents like that in our neighborhood even the house across the street where we live, 2-3 guys broke into their house and broke their car door and stole stuff.) It's scary plus the fact I'm not used of sleeping alone. I told Andrew he has to sleep with me tonight but he said no and he wants to sleep in his own bed. Oh well, I'll just try to sleep and think of the chickenjoy from Jollibee that I can have tomorrow! :)

Last night we got to watch Clearfield High School's musical play Sleepy Hollow. JR was in the play. He was the Indian chief. The play was fun. All the casts did a wonderful job.
Here's some pictures I took from the play. They didn't allow any video recording.

They did a pumpkin auction in between the scenes. These two (Mickey & Minnie Mouse) pumpkins are really cute! It got sold for $60.

The guy beside us got this cookie monster pumpkin for $25. Andrew asked him if he could hold it.

Last night was our ward trunk or treat.

Andrew was excited to wear his ninja turtle costume.
He enjoyed doing the trunk or treat. No mask allowed so he didn't get to wear his mask.
After doing trunk or treat we went inside and had doughnut and hot chocolate milk.

This little girl is so cute with her costume.

Autumn winds begin to blow;
Colored leaves fall fast and slow.
Twirling, whirling all around.
Till at last, they touch the ground.

Yesterday was Ammon's first birthday and death anniversary. I had difficulty with the memories. I was once again overcome by the painful grief that I thought was slowly healing. It has been a most difficult first year, and yesterday was the time of remembering. Remembering what happened exactly a year ago as I was watching my tiny baby struggled to breath and slowly died while I was watching helplessly. There is no pain like that of a mother losing her child even watching her tiny child slowly die. The pain was too much but I'm grateful for the gospel of Jesus Christ that gives me hope and assurance that I can be with him again someday. I read this poem over and over again yesterday and it helped me. This poem brings me peace.

I'm just a little baby
who didn't quite make it there;
I went straight to be with Jesus
but I'm waiting for you here.
Don't you fret about me mommy
I'm of all God's most blessed
I'd have loved to stay there with you
but Heavenly Father knows what's best.
Many who dwell here where I live
waited years to enter in,
they struggled through a world of sorrow
and their lives were marred with sin.
So sweet mommy don't be sad,
wipe those tears and chase the gloom,
I went straight to be with Jesus,
from my lovely mothers womb.
Thank you for the life you gave me,
it was brief but don't complain;
I have all of heaven's glory
suffering none of the world's pain.
Thank you for the name you gave me,
I'm thankful for all you've done.
I'll be waiting here for you
in heaven up above.
I would have loved to stay with you,
And lived life by your side,
But the Lord has called me home,
I know it's hard to understand why.
Thank you mommy for making me,
You made me out of love,
I can't wait for the day I see you again
So you can see what I've become.
I'm an angel here in heaven,
The Lord's here by my side,
He wants me to let you know
He's sorry he made you cry.
He has a plan for me up here,
And a plan for you here too,
Someday we'll be together again,
And this I know is true.

I know Ammon is claimed for eternity through the Atonement Of Jesus Christ. I know that our separation is both temporary and brief in the eternal perspective. I am excited for that day to come when I can be reunited with him and I pray that I can live my life everyday worthy for that glorious day!

Yes I am pregnant. I just found out today. I know having a baby is a blessing and I'm excited to know that I'm pregnant again but at the same time I am overwhelmed. All these times, the death of Ammon kept on haunting me even worse now that I know I'm pregnant. I have a lot of fears, a lot of what if's (what if the same thing will happen again etc.). Tomorrow will be exactly a year since Ammon's birth and death. A lot of people told me that I just have to move on but nobody will ever understand me unless they're a mother who have experienced the same thing. I will always love my Ammon and will forever have difficulty with the memories of that fateful day but I'm hoping that this pregnancy will somehow allow me to finally heal the immeasurable pain inside. I pray that Heavenly Father will bless me throughout my pregnancy and that He'll bless me with a healthy baby.

I met one of my MTC batchmates (also my roomates). I didn't realize until earlier this month that she's here in Utah. We went to visit them and it was fun visiting them and catching up. We reminisced our MTC experiences (about 10 years ago) and talked about the rest of our batchmates. It always feels good to meet an old friend especially someone who's been a part of my mission life.

Andrew had so much fun playing with the hula hoop and bouncing in the trampoline.

Our Las Vegas trip was a lot of fun! Everybody had a good time especially the kids. On Friday, we started our day eating breakfast at the Circus Buffet. The food were ok but we wished we didn't spend that much money since the kids mostly eat cereal.

After eating breakfast we took the kids to the Adventuredome and bought them day passes. We just let them play the whole day while Russ was running around town to find stuff to sell.

I met with my friends Lisha & Anthony at noon time and we went to some Filipino stores and bakery and bought some groceries. Most of the stuff is cheaper in Vegas than in Utah.

After doing our groceries shopping, we went up to the Stratosphere Tower.
“Soar more than 100 floors above the Stratosphere Las Vegas Hotel and enjoy panoramic views of the shimmering Vegas Strip and nearby valley. Jutting 1,149 feet into the Vegas skyline, the Stratosphere Tower is the tallest observation tower in the U.S. and one of the most exciting attractions among Vegas Strip hotels. But that's just the beginning. Also offers thrills you can't find anywhere else, including international shops and one-of-a-kind rides.”
When we’re in the tower, it was indeed a heart pounding experience I couldn’t look down it made me dizzy but Andrew loved it a lot! He was enjoying so much looking down and watching the cars.

Of course we didn’t miss eating at Jollibee. We had halo-halo at Chowking too. That made our trip complete! :)

We also went to see the Las Vegas Temple. We do love to see the Temple.

After our running around Russ took the boys to eat dinner while Jesse and I had spaghetti and chicken from Jollibee. After eating, Russ was tired and he just wanted to rest but before we ended our day I took the kids to the grand Carnival Midway to play some carnival games and goof around. We had so much fun!

We also watched some Circus Acts, and my friends Lisha and Anthony joined us for the night.
