Slippin' And A Slidin'

Another Fun Day!

Since we're close to Clinton Pond we always love to go there whenever we can. We love to feed the ducks! After feeding the ducks, Russ would also go fishing while I put the 2 boys in the double stroller and walk around the pond a few times.

I Love My Brother!

Russ and I are surprised how well Andrew is dealing with the new baby in the house and his new baby brother. He is doing really good and very harmless with Aaron. He loves to cuddle him, gives him hugs and kisses and help me with everything when his baby brother is involved. He has been a good helper and we're sure glad he's well prepared for having his new baby brother.

Welcome Home Baby Aaron!

Going Home

We were set to go home from the hospital on Friday morning...

Aaron's Birth

I went to my doctor’s appointment last Tuesday (June 9) for my NST and as usual it showed regular contractions. When the doctor did the pelvic exam I was 3+ cm already so I was scheduled for induction the next day. Tuesday night was the longest night of my life, I was excited for the fact that I would see my baby the next day but at the same time I was once again overcome with my fears of losing another one. Though everything was fine all throughout my pregnancy, I still have a lot of fears and it was when I was close to my due date that my experience with Ammon kept on haunting me. I knew I needed a priesthood blessing at the time, I asked my husband to give me one before we left to the hospital. We dropped Andrew to Fe & Scott’s house and then head to the hospital. We arrived about 8:00 am in the hospital and after an hour or so, they started me with the induction medicine. Around 1:00 pm the doctor broke my bag of water and less than 2 hours after I was already 9 cm dilated. When I was ready they had me push and after few pushes ( it took me 5 mins I think) baby Aaron came out at exactly 4:36 pm.. When I heard him cried, all the fears went away when I know for sure that my baby is alive. My delivery went well except I lost more blood that I should have. Luckily I didn’t need blood transfusion my doctor was quick enough to order the medicine I needed for the bleeding. I am grateful for having a very good and experienced doctor. I have gone through a lot with this pregnancy and I’m always glad he’s on the top of everything. Aaron's birth brought blessings, joy and hope to our family.

Our New Addition!

A little bit of heaven
Drifted down from above -
A handful of happiness,
A heartful of love.
The mystery of life,
So sacred and sweet
The giver of joy
So deep and complete.
Precious and priceless,
So lovable, too
The world's sweetest miracle,
Baby boy, is you.

4th Wedding Anniversary...

This is how it happens

Two people start to realize

that they are happiest

when they are together

they start to find

special way to show

how much they care

by giving and sharing

Little things.

This is how it happens

Two people start

to dream

about the future

what it holds for them

and all it could mean

they start to feel

a certain way that

they never feel before

with anyone else.

This is how it happens

when the love between two people

is for real

and forever

I’m so glad it happened to us.

Today Russ and I celebrated our 4th wedding anniversary. Russ was planning on taking me out to dinner but I chose to stay home since I've been having a lot of contractions. We decided to have dinner at home and Russ cooked for us. We had shrimp fettuccine alfredo, roast beef, and green beans. We had a wonderful dinner at home.

I was checking online on some ideas what I should give Russ for our anniversary and this is what i found...

4th Wedding Anniversary
Traditional Gifts: Fruit or Flowers
Modern Gifts: Appliances
Celebrating: Ideas and Symbols

I ordered a floral fruit bouquet online for Russ. He enjoyed it!

So does Andrew...

Russ gave me a 20" Christus. I have always wanted to have a big one like this.

Thanks Sweetheart for all you did. I love You!

HAFB Air Show

Today we went to the HAFB Air Show. There were a lot of people and the show was fantastic! Too bad I forgot to replace the battery on my nice camera so I didn't get a picture of airplanes up in the air. We had fun though we had to walk a little bit. I'm glad there was a shuttle bus that took us from where we parked to where the air show was located or we would have walked more than a mile. Andrew had a lot of fun and it was a bonus for him to be able to ride the shuttle bus. He loves to ride in the bus. Enjoy the pictures! :)

Clinton Pond

Some of the activities we love to do during summer are feeding the duckies and fishing. Since we live close to the Clinton Pond, we can just go there every time we want to. Andrew loves feeding the ducks a lot!
