Update

it's been a while since I updated my blog. I have been busy, I've been starting this post since Monday but didn't get the chance to finish it. Finally I'm done and here's some updates on our California-Las Vegas trip. It was a long drive but we enjoyed it and all three of us had a wonderful time together as a family and it was a good way to celebrate our 3rd year anniversary. Thanks for visiting my blog and have fun!!
We drove from Las Vegas to Utah on Wednesday and we decided to see the temple in Saint George. They had a visiting center there too. It was always a nice experience to feel the spirit of the Lord as we were visiting his Holy House.

After settling down in our hotel we went walking around on the strip for sightseeing and we ate dinner at MGM Grand Buffet. It was one wonderful night for all three of us.

It was a long drive from California to Las Vegas, the temperature was over 100 degrees, and it took us more than what we anticipated because of all the traffics. Instead of 8 hours, it took us almost 14 hours and our van was almost over heated for running the whole day up in the hill of Nevada’s dessert. When we got to Vegas we ate at Jollibee and then checked in to our hotel. We stayed a Tropicana hotel, it’s in the strip. After long hours of driving , we had a “treat” from the hotel. They gave us a free upgrade of our room (tower room, one bedroom suite). It was so nice and we enjoyed a very comfortable evening. I’m glad we had a really nice room for a cheaper price… Below are some of the pictures we took in our hotel room in Las Vegas. Andrew loved our room a lot and he enjoyed looking outside through the windows.

We stayed for a night @ Good-Nite Inn in San Jose California. We've been running around and doing our business on Monday (June 9)

Chowking!!

Andrew and I loved the Jollibee of course. After a while, I'm glad I had chickenjoy again. Chicken joynjoy is the best and I couldn't find the same here. Here's a few pictures from Jollibee..

Chop Sticks

After taking care of of our business stuffs in California we went to eat lunch at "Tung Kee noodle House. It's Russ's favorite noodle house. When Andrew saw others using chop sticks he wanted to try too so when his food came, he grabbed a pair of chop sticks and used it. Though he didn't do it right but it was good enough and the most impotant he was persistent on learning how..

On The Road!

As Russ mentioned, we're driving to California today. I'll try to update you all with our adventures and post more pictures later...

[Russ typing]

Today is our third wedding anniversary and we celebrated by cramming ourselves and 1000 pounds of stuff in the van and driving for 16 hours to California... how Romantic! :)We have been in 4 different states today (Utah, Arizona, Nevada, and California!) . We did have a chance to eat lunch at the Jollibee in Las Vegas, something Daisy has been wanting to do for a long time now! Given the nature of our quick trip i suspect we will have to wait till we get home to reflect on the years behind and ahead of us. We do hope to get a chance to visit the Las Vegas and St George temples on our return trip.

Pizza???

We had a power out the other day for almost the whole day and when it's dinner time the power was still out so we decided to go get pizza for dinner. We went to "Papa John's Pizza" and we liked it a lot! While waiting for the pizza, Andrew had fun goofing around and pretend eating the big pizza in the picture. We couldn't pass it out without taking pictures! Here's the pictures we took and enjoy!!

Daddy's Boy

Daddy's Boy

In his innocent eyes
I see you there
He's Daddy's Boy
It's so plain to see
In his eyes you're a hero
And always will be
What did we ever do
Before our baby
Our old life seems so lonely
And trivial to me
Our whole world has changed
He's melted our hearts
I wish he would stay little
So we would never part
Yes, he'll grow up
And go his own way
But forever in out hearts
Our baby boy will stay
