We went camping on June 22-24 with some of our friends ( 9 families). We had a lot of fun and everybody had a good time.
The boys loved the Hammock.
On Saturday (June 23) we went to see the Golden Spike National Historic Site and Bear River Migratory Bird Refuge. The kids had a lot of fun visiting these places especially the Golden Spike.
Golden Spike National Historic Site
May 10, 1869 the Union and Central Pacific Railroads joined their rails at Promontory Summit, Utah Territory and forged the destiny of a nation. Golden Spike National Historic Site shares the stories of the people and settings that define the completion of the first Transcontinental Railroad.
Bear River Migratory Bird Refuge
Bear River Migratory Bird Refuge (MBR) lies in northern Utah, where the
Bear River flows into the northeast arm of the Great Salt Lake. The
Refuge protects the marshes found at the mouth of the Bear River;
these marshes are the largest freshwater component of the Great Salt
Lake ecosystem. Since these marshes are in turn surrounded by arid
desert lands, it is little wonder that they have always been an oasis
for waterfowl!

At fatherly duties you star;
You deserve to celebrate
The terrific father you are.
And so we'd like to convey
Our respect and admiration;
Happy Father's Day!

We had a birthday party for Aaron last Saturday. We had a lot of fun! We hired "Johnny The Clown" to come to his party and entertain the kids. He did some juggling, magic show and made balloons for everybody. The kids had so much fun and we would like to thank everybody who joined us that day!
