We decided to run down to Sandy to the South Towne Expo Center to see all the parade floats for the Pioneer Day parade in Salt Lake. Since we will not be able to go to the parade this was the next best thing. The floats were all really cool and so well done. Most of them are done by church groups (Stakes) around the Salt Lake Valley which makes them even more impressive knowing that they are made by amateurs for the most part! There were some games and stuff for the kids to do as well.
We went to Salt Lake on Friday (July 17) to visit the Tracy Aviary. We have not been there in several years. The kids really enjoy seeing all the different birds. They had a great time at the bird show and Andy got picked to participate feeding the ducks.
