The Snowflake Arizona Temple was the second temple built in Arizona, following the Mesa Arizona Temple (1927).
The Snowflake Arizona Temple is a sister building to the Winter Quarters Nebraska Temple.
Our next stop was Petrified Forest. Best known for globally significant Late Triassic fossils, the park attracts many researchers. Geologists study the multi-hued Chinle Formation. Archeologists research over 13,000 years of history. Biologists explore one of the best remnants of native Arizona grassland.

Last week was spring break for Andrew and we went to Arizona and enjoyed some time together for 5 days. We brought our trailer along so we just camped and didn't stay in any hotel. Our first stop was the Grand Canyon National Park.

Andrew turned 6 on March 26. He has grown a lot and he wants to know everything. He is doing really well at school and he loves being a "big brother" to all 3 younger kids.
He had a birthday party on march 30. He invited some of his friends and the balloon man came with his wife who did the face painting. Everybody had a good time and Andrew was very happy!

One thing Andrew never forgets to do on his birthday is releasing the balloons. He always wants to release them " so they will go to heaven where Ammon and Abish are and I want to share my balloons with them"

We watched Disney on Ice on March 9th. the kids enjoyed it especially our foster kids who were glued to the show the whole time!

It's been a while since my last post. Life has been crazy and I'm busy and on the go most of the time. We welcomed 2 foster kids ( 3 1/2 years old girl and almost 2 year old boy) to our house last January 14 and they're still with us until now. It was a big change to our family but we had adjusted having 4 young kids around the house. Andrew loves being the " Big Brother" and is doing pretty well. Aaron is still adjusting having them around since he was the baby for a long time but they have a lot of fun when they play together and get along.
We went to Chuck E Cheese on February 25. Everybody had fun especially our 2 foster kids.
We shopped on President's Day @ RC Willey's and they had free hotdog.
We had a great valentine this year. We decided not to eat out outside since every restaurant was packed that day. After putting all 4 kids to sleep Russ and I had a nice dinner together and open our present for each other.
We did a valentine craft on February 13 for our family home evening!
