great food you can bet now.
It’s Thanksgiving Day,
and we’re ready to eat;
All those near and dear us
here today to cheer us.
This dinner is a winner,
a wonderful treat.
for all that God gives us;
For reviewing what we treasure,
The people we hold dear,
Who give us so much pleasure.
Life would be a bore;
Having you in my life
Is what I’m thankful for.

The kids are out of school today till Friday, so we decided to put our Christmas tree up so we can just do all the fun stuff we want to do this weekend. They all had fun working on it!

With my present pregnancy, I'm craving for seafood. I love to eat salmon, squid & shrimp. Russ went to the store to get me some salmon and he found a king crab leg on sale for $4.99/lb, he got some and so we had crab and steak for dinner.. Yummy!

Tonight our ward had their Young Women In Excellence . Unfortunately, Jessica is sick since this morning (she must have gotten it from Andrew) so we didn't make it to her activity tonight. Two of her young women leaders dropped by the house after their activity and brought these picture, snap clip with her name on it, and some cupcakes with YW value colors frosting!

Andrew has been sick for almost the whole week. He had a viral infection and am glad he's ok now.
Today, I took him to one of the pet stores and bought him some fish since the fish he had, died one by one. He wanted to see some of the pets they had and he had fun watching them.

Since Thanksgiving is coming, we did this activity for our family night!
It’s tough to be a turkey
Who’s plain old boring brown.
Please count your many blessings
And turn my life around.
A feather for each blessing
Will make a brighter me.
And every color will reveal
Who’s plain old boring brown.
Please count your many blessings
And turn my life around.
A feather for each blessing
Will make a brighter me.
And every color will reveal
How grateful you can be.
We put the turkey together like a puzzle, each person choosing a blessing and telling why he is grateful for it as he adds that feather.
