Last week (July 12-16) was Clinton City Heritage Days. Throughout this week-long celebration, many activities and programs are provided. We participated in a lot of activities this year.

Fish Derby (July 12)
Activities include climbing wall, casting contest, rubber ducky drawing, little tykes fish pond and train rides. The Boys had so much fun though we didn't catch any fish!

The boys even tried wall climbing.

Carnival (July 13)
The kids most favorite is the carnival of course! We got them both a day pass and Andrew loved all the rides. Aaron loved the boat ride the most and he's was getting in and out of it many times!

We took a break from the carnival and watched Clinton Idol.where one of the contestant was Sherra. One of my friend's sister.

Dutch Oven Dinner & Car Show
(July 14)

We had dinner at the park then we watched the car show. The boys especially Andrew was amazed to see all the beautiful cars.

After the car show we decided to go fishing at Cold Spring Trout Farm. It's not part of the heritage days but we had a lot of fun doing it. Though their trout was a bit pricey but the fun we had especially the boys was priceless!

Carnival Again (July 15)
We watched the finals for the Clinton Idol then we spent the rest of the night at the carnival.

we had pizza at the park!

P
arade (July 16)
This is the first time we watched parade on heritage days. The boys enjoyed it and we got so much candies!

Right after the parade we watched the Hera's Heroes by the Children's Theater Of Clinton. Jannelle was one of the casts and she did a good job! She played as one of the 3 barbie musketeers.

In the afternoon we watched a magic show (Eric Wanner). It was great!

We then attended Alanna's 2nd birthday party.

To close the event the city did a fireworks at 10:00. We watched it in one of our friend's house who lives closer to the park. The fireworks were amazing and everyone loved them!
