We also visited Crater Lake National Park. Though 90% of the park is closed this time of year we were able to climb a ramp onto the 15+ feet of snow and see the lake. Near the edge of the crater the wind was blowing at 45+ miles per hour with gusts higher. The kids were well away from that wind just to stand and take a picture.
