One of the great consolations of this Easter season is that because Jesus walked such a long, lonely path utterly alone, we do not have to do so.

Jessica turned 13 today. She invited some of her friends to watch Monster vs. Aliens with her. After watching a movie, we all ate @ Asian Buffet. How time flies! She was only 9 years old when I arrived here.

While they were in the movie, I took Andrew to the mall to walk around and he got to ride in some of their rides. He had a lot of fun!

General conference was so great and I'm so excited for more talks tomorrow! I was watching with Andrew and he sat down almost through the whole afternoon session. He was doing really good and he always asked me who was talking as the conference continues.

I love all the talks but Elder Richard G. Scott (Quorum of the Twelve Apostles) talks inspired me the most. As I watched and listened him spoke, I felt like he was talking to me personally. He was talking about Temple ordinances and those blessings from attending the temple. What really hit me from his message is when he shared how felt fourteen years ago, he lost his wife in death. He has never asked why, but what does God want him to learn? He doesn’t understand why necessarily, but he does not complain. He was talking about his children and that they are blessings in his life. His son Richard born with a heart defect. Surgeon first expressed success to them, then within 10 minutes later his son had died from the shock of the operation. Again he never asked why but instead rejoice in the knowledge that all his children are sealed to them for time and eternity. He emphasized that this is a good way to face the unpleasant in our life. Everything else in the hands of the Lord. We should never complain when we are living worthily. Fourteen years ago, God decided not necessary for his wife to live in mortality. When we keep our Temple covenants then come what may, we have no reason to worry or be despondent. We will be with our loved ones who died because of Temple ordinances. Sealing authority on earth is a blessing!

Andrew turned 3 today. How time flies! He has been insisting that he is a "Big Boy" now and he's no longer a little boy. He has grown so much and he is our pride and joy!

First thing this morning, I took him to Great Clips to get him a hair cut. He was doing really good. He was sitting still as his hair was being cut.

After his hair cut we went home to clean up and change then we head to Toys R Us. I got him to the Toys R Us Geoffrey's birthday club and each year he would get a birthday card and a gift card from them. At the store, he got a birthday crown, a Geoffrey's balloon and an in-store announcement letting everyone know there's a lucky Toy R Us kid celebrating his birthday! He was really happy for that especially as I let him chose his own present.

This is the present he chose for himself.
He is one happy boy today and he is so excited for his birthday party this coming Saturday.

I had a follow up ultrasound yesterday. Everything went well, and the best news was they didn't see the choroid plexus cysts anymore. We are blessed and there are a lot of things we need to be thankful for!

Andrew will be turning 3 on the 26th and he is so excited for his birthday that almost everyday since last week, he's always asking for his birthday cake! He wanted "CARS" theme for his party so I made him this invitation and he likes it a lot!

I'm Back!

I know it's been a while since I last posted. Life has been crazy here and we have been busy. We were under contract with a house we wanted to buy but unfortunately, the house didn't appraise the seller's asking price and the seller was not willing to work with us for the appraised value of the house so we had no choice than to back out and start over again.
The last few days we spent looking for a house, and today we found another one and hopefully we'll be in contract again and it will go through this time.

Here's our recent pics....

We visited Ammon one day and Andrew was excited to bring flowers for Ammon.

The 3 preggy friends @ Lisha's baby shower.

Russ and I had a great dinner @ Pad Thai after going to the temple last Friday. The food was really good.
