Andrew had his first show & tell last Wednesday and he decided to tell his class about our recent trip to the Philippines. He showed them the (Korean Air) airplane toy souvenir we got from the airport and one of the souvenir shirts we bought when we went to Bohol. I think it went well as he was so excited..With the new baby on her way, we decided to get a bunk bed for the boys. Aaron has been sleeping with us and we need the space when the new baby is here so we moved him to their room. They love their new bed and they're having fun with it.

I took the boys to the Fire Department Open House and Safety Fair in Clinton City fire department last night. At Andrew's school, the focus on fire safety this week since (Oct 3-9 is fire prevention week.) Andrew had a lot of fun at the fair and he got to do a lot of stuff, got inside the fire truck, fire extinguisher training, got to see inside the ambulance and got to see the live fire demonstration which was his most favorite activity for the night. The boys got a lot of free stuff too. ( I brought my camera but the memory card wasn't on it so I only got 3 pics from the internal memory and just took more pics when we got home).

Yes I'm having a baby girl. We just found out yesterday. We're so excited!
I found out I was pregnant after we came back from our vacation in the Philippines but I was 7 weeks pregnant then. I was already pregnant before we left for our vacation. The moment I found out, I was overwhelmed! I was excited but at the same time I was scared and fear overcame me simply because the timing of this pregnancy is exactly the same as Ammon's. My due date is on February 25th and so was Ammon's. Though I am trying all I can to be positive, but it can be tough at times. October is especially tough month for me, and few days from today will be Ammon's third birthday/death anniversary. All I can do is to have faith and ask Heavenly Father to help me overcome my fears and bless me with a healthy baby. I know He loves me very much and He is mindful of my needs.
I found this idea from scriptures4kids and we made our own Liahona. We had a lot of fun doing it as a family. When we're done doing them Andrew announced that he wanted to ride a boat and pretend we have a real liahona with us.. :)

We celebrated Fe and Elsa's birthday at Olive Garden. We did their never ending pasta bowl.. We love Olive Garden and we all had a great time as we celebrated 2 of my friends birthday! Once again Happy Birthday Elsa and Fe!
As I watch you both grow,
I couldn't imagine it any other way
and would do it all over again.
I love you both with all my heart.
