Last night, we got to watch Glenn Beck's The Christmas Sweater live at the E-Center in Salt Lake. Russ is a big fan of Glenn Beck and he wanted to watch the show with me. Our friend Scott and Fe supposed to come with us but Camilla got sick so they decided not to go. Before the show we eat dinner at The Plum Restaurant (inside the Embassy Suite Hotel) in Salt Lake. They only served American food but the food was good. I enjoyed the salmon that I ordered and Russ had a rib eye steak.

The Christmas Sweater is a new Christmas Play with Music, based on Glenn Beck's novel of the same name.

The Christmas Sweater is an exciting and compelling piece of theatre. Filled with warmth and humor, The Christmas Sweater tells the story of real people as they come to terms with tragedy, family, redemption, love and the power of faith.

Based on a personal true story, The Christmas Sweater is a narrative of a boy named Eddie who wanted nothing more than a new bike for Christmas from his mother. What he got instead was a sweater. That Christmas morning started a tragic and painful road to manhood for Eddie.

The show was not everything I was expecting but I love the story! The story was great and it was well told. It's about a journey we all take at some point in our life. It reminds us that even though the journey is often hard, it is worth it for those who choose to take it.
