After Buffalo Bill we stopped in at the Fick Museum (housed in a wing of the small library). Such a nice lady running the exhibit invited the kids to dig their own fossil (from dry mud molded in a dixie cup...). The Exhibit includes some fossils, a ton of vintage americana from the local area and a bunch of interesting folk art by the artist for which the facility is named Vi Fick. The artwork features images and scenes created using shells, wood, and stone combined with paint. There are also several carved works by Vi Fick with an early American folk art style.
